All the gondola shelving in this section is metallic silver (RAL9006) colour.

Gondola shelving is the familiar double sided shop shelving seen in supermarkets where it forms the layout of the shop and forms supermarket aisles in the centre of the shop. On the end of the gondola retail shelving aisles an end bay is normally placed to make an island shelving unit, end bays are great for seasonal goods and special offers.

Gondola shop shelving should be positioned in a pre planned layout that will create the desired customer flow through the store, some stores have a more flexible layout where customers can easily choose which gondola aisles to visit, other such as pound shops and discount stores have a more rigid layout, at least to start with to make sure customers pass the best selling products. 

Supermarket gondola height is normally determined by the size of the store, tall gondolas in a small shop with narrow aisles can be claustrophobic for the customers but will display the maximum range of products, whereas wide aisles and low gondola might be very pleasant but is not as efficient use of valuable retail space.

Sometimes in smaller shops using narrower gondola means a complete extra row of gondola shelving can be used, dramatically increasing the number of products available.  These points should be considered when planning your shop layout, at Shelving Megastore our advice is free, so please contact us if you need help.
